Booking and Working with Area Amaya

Area Amaya stands for personal support, direct collaboration with local providers, and a smooth, reliable booking experience for tours and charters in Cancún and the surrounding area.

Through our close collaboration with local boat owners, captains, and trusted tour providers, we are able to offer many experiences without unnecessary middlemen. Unlike more traditional brokerage models involving multiple intermediaries, concierge services, or third-party platforms, Area Amaya works directly with carefully selected local partners on the ground.

This approach allows us to combine local expertise with personal service and often enables us to offer:

Our Role in Your Booking

Area Amaya supports you throughout the entire process, from the initial inquiry to the final booking, and assists you with any questions related to your reservation.

In particular, we help with:

  • advice and personalized recommendations
  • coordination of availability
  • communication with local providers
  • support during the booking process

All requests made through the website are non-binding. A booking is only confirmed once availability has been individually verified and, where applicable, a payment or deposit has been received.

Payments are not processed directly through the website. Instead, payment details are shared after confirmation, typically via WhatsApp, email, or secure payment links (such as Stripe or PayPal).

Collaboration with Local Partners

Area Amaya works directly with local boat owners, captains, and tour providers who are responsible for the operational execution of each tour.

The actual tour is carried out by the respective local provider. This includes, in particular:

  • the boat or vehicle
  • the crew and captain
  • safety briefings and procedures
  • the operation and execution of the tour
  • decisions made during the experience
  • compliance with local regulations

Area Amaya makes every effort, to the best of its knowledge, to work with carefully selected partners and to offer services that appear professionally organized and aligned with the standards typically expected in tourism experiences.

Responsibility

Area Amaya is responsible for its role in communication, coordination, and booking support.

The execution of the tour itself — including all operational aspects, safety procedures, and on-site decisions — is the responsibility of the respective local provider.

Area Amaya does not have direct control over the operational execution of tours. Therefore, responsibility for incidents, delays, cancellations, or other events occurring during the tour lies with the respective provider, to the extent that such circumstances are outside Area Amaya’s control.

Area Amaya remains responsible for its own actions in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Pricing & Currency

Prices are generally provided in US Dollars (USD) unless explicitly stated otherwise. In some cases, prices may be listed in Mexican Pesos (MXN) where indicated.

Booking Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed once availability has been confirmed and a payment or deposit has been received.

Payments

Payments are arranged outside the website via direct communication (e.g., WhatsApp, email, or secure payment links).

Availability & Changes

All tours and services are subject to availability. Changes may occur due to weather conditions, operational reasons, safety considerations, or provider decisions.

Third-Party Providers

Additional terms and conditions of the respective local provider or operator may apply to specific tours or services.
